Gallery 23 NY presents ‘ROCK n ROLL x WILD WILD WEST’ a new collection by iconic celebrity stylist Lauryn Flynn. Inspired by the iconography of the Wild Wild West along with the influence of the glamorous and edgy world of Rock n Roll music, the collection features 23 of the artist’s latest hand made wearable works of art including custom leather jackets and one of a kind pieces. This event launches the summer residency of Lauryn Flynn at Gallery 23 NY through August 31, 2021.

STEVIE AND FRIENDS
Gallery 23 NY presents a group show ‘Stevie and Friends. a celebration of pop culture and urban art. Each artist showcased in the exhibition has a unique style. Stevie Chow is known for his use of vivid colors, positive phrases, and reflective resin finishes. Flore’s Urban Cubist pieces, for which he has become famous, are instantly recognizable. 1Penemy’s mugshots can be found plastered around New York City as well as in the homes of celebrities including Real Housewife Sonja Morgan, Victoria’s Secret model Candace Swanepoel, and Countess Luann De Lesseps. SeekOne’s fusion of classic collage techniques mixed with street-style wheatpaste makes for captivating images that bring in the viewer. The show is tied together due to the artist’s roots in street art and graffiti.

REFLECTIONS//ABSTRACTIONS
Gallery 23 NY presents ‘Reflections//Abstractions’, a show featuring works by a group of distinguished artists both living and deceased from across the globe that explores the medium of photography and its salient intersections with the world around us.
The show features the artists Nicole Laxton, Philippe Shangti, Danny Hastings, Omar Ortiz, Dan Budnik, Axel Crieger, Mike Rosenthal, and Nero, whose works consider unexamined relationships between the aesthetics of photography and those of fashion, music, and other seemingly disparate cultural idioms. This exhibit also showcases two never before seen works from Studio R//A’s capsule collection, a fine-art project founded by Robyn Arteaga, specializing in off-beat furniture and objects made of marble and onyx stone. The dominos command the power of numerology and ascension, acting as a precursor to a series to be released in late summer 2021.
