OUR MISSION
At Gallery 23 NY, our mission is to empower underrepresented communities through
creativity, connection, and opportunity.
We believe art is a powerful tool for self-expression, healing, and growth.
By creating inclusive spaces where diverse voices are heard and celebrated,
we uplift individuals who have historically been marginalized
and provide pathways for them
to share their stories, talents, and perspectives.
Through our
WeArtNY community classes,
we serve children, teens, young adults, and adults with
hands-on arts education and career-focused creative programs.
These classes are the heart of our work.
Donations directly support our instructors, supplies, scholarships,
and day-to-day program operations, ensuring our programs remain
accessible to the community.
Sustainability and Social responsibility are at the core of everything we do.
We integrate environmentally conscious practices into our programming,
using art as a platform to spark awareness, dialogue, and action around climate
and community care.
Our vision is to build a more inclusive, creative, and eco-conscious future.
Through collaboration, education, and community engagement,
we strive to make art accessible to all and empower individuals to use their voices
and talents to drive positive change.
