How often do the contests happen?

Currently, our intention is to host these contests on a bi-monthly basis.

when will I hear about results?

Please allow us 1-2 weeks once the submission window is closed . Our goal is to contact every artist who submitted, regardless if they were selected, but this cannot be guaranteed as it will depend on the amount of submissions received.

If I am selected, how long will my art be featured?

During each bimonthly round, the selected artists will be featured either at our flagship gallery located in the heart of Chelsea or at one of three Zazzy Pizza locations in Manhattan until the next round opens. One artist will be featured in Frank 151 - a globally recognized digital arts and culture magazine. Your artwork has the opportunity to be sold through Gallery 23, and exclusive permission to sell and advertise must be granted for the duration of the contest window. Should work be unsold upon completion of contest, it will be returned to the artist and all rights and permissions granted to Gallery 23 and partners will be released.

how often can I submit?

For each bimonthly, you may only submit one original artwork of your choice. However, whether you weren’t selected this time or even if you have won before, we encourage you to continue submit your artwork as many times as you would like! Something you submit may be something that we’re looking for in a future project.
